Asking about a job

Describe the work and your postcode area. We will discuss whether we can help, any extra details we need, the labour and any materials.

A visit is agreed separately once both sides have accepted the work, price and timing. A website enquiry does not reserve a time.

Prices and materials

The minimum visit is £80, including the first hour of labour. Each additional hour is £50. The website also lists starting prices for straightforward jobs.

We agree the cost of any parts, materials or extra time with you before going ahead.

Access and permission

Tell us about stairs, restricted access, parking or heavy items before the visit. If the property is rented or managed, arrange any permissions needed for drilling, fitting or alterations.

Work that needs a specialist, such as gas or fixed electrical work, falls outside these handyman services.

Changes and concerns

If the work or timing needs to change, reply through the channel used to arrange the job. If you are unhappy with a service, explain what happened so it can be looked into. Your statutory consumer rights still apply.
