Shelf fitting
A floating shelf in an alcove, or a whole wall of books. We’ll agree the height and spacing and check which fixings the wall needs.
Ask about this job
A good shelf starts with the wall.
A shelf for paperbacks asks something different of a wall than a shelf for a trailing plant. Say what yours will hold and where you want it. The wall, shelf and brackets can then be checked together.

Tell us about your shelves
- Shelves
- How many are there, and how long is each one?
- Wall
- Brick, plasterboard or something else? It’s fine if you’re unsure.
- Weight
- Books, plants or kitchenware? What goes on top helps us choose the fixings.
A few questions.
Do I need to know what my wall is made of?
No. Describe the room and the shelf. If a closer look at the wall would help, you can send a photo when we reply.
Can several shelves be fitted in one visit?
Yes. Send the number of shelves, their lengths and which walls they’ll go on so we can plan the visit.
